Robotics software is the layer between a robot that can move and a robot that does useful work. The arm, the drive base, and the controller usually arrive capable. What's missing is everything around them: the task logic, the recovery behavior when a part arrives misplaced, the interface the operator actually touches, and the integration that tells the robot what today's production order is.
Coordinatez builds that layer. We work in ROS 2 and vendor SDKs, validate behavior in simulation before anything runs on real hardware, and treat the operator interface as a deliverable rather than a debug screen that shipped by accident. Our robotics practice is new; the engineering discipline behind it — testing, CI, observability, code another team can pick up — is not.
Robot hardware arrives capable but inert. The gap between a working demo and a cell that runs an unattended shift is task logic, error recovery, and operator tooling — and that is exactly where most robotics projects stall.
We build the application and control layer in ROS 2 or the vendor SDK, prove it in simulation before hardware time is spent, and ship it with the operator interface, logging, and integration hooks needed to actually run it in production.
Engineering is delivered by Coordinatez's in-house team, serving clients across the United States and internationally.
